This is good stuff. It actually works!
Jen | Denver, CO
I had a job that required constant hard work and lots of stress. The last thing I needed was to have a cold in the midst of it all. I heard about Zicam and was skeptical. When I used the Oral Mist, the relief came unexpectedly soon. I was better in a day and a half and able to return to normal work. I love this product and will continue to recommend it to everyone.

In the last five years I have used Zicam as I felt the first tingling sensation in my throat and I essentially have not had a cold during this entire time, except but twice. Both times were when I was traveling overseas that I didn't have Zicam with me and couldn't find it locally. Now I travel with one more item added to my amenities, ZICAM!

Zicam Cold Remedy is an over-the-counter homeopathic medicine that actually reduces the duration and severity of the common cold when taken at the first sign of cold symptoms.
Since the common cold is a self-limiting condition (research shows that most people get over a cold between 10-14 days), the term "cure" is not scientifically applicable. However, unlike most over-the-counter and prescription cold remedies that have been designed to temporarily suppress the symptoms of the common cold, Zicam Cold Remedy Oral Mist helps reduce the duration and severity of the common cold.
For best results, use at the first sign of a cold and use for an additional 48 hours after symptoms subside. When using Oral Mist, spray four times in mouth at the onset of symptoms. Spray on inside of cheeks, roof of mouth and gums. Retain 15 seconds. Swallow. Repeat every three hours until symptoms are gone. To avoid a minor stomach upset, do not take on an empty stomach. Do not eat or drink for 15 minutes after use. Do not eat or drink citrus fruits or juices for 30 minutes before or after. Otherwise, drink plenty of fluids. Children under 3 years of age, consult a doctor before use.
Zicam Cold Remedy Oral Mist contains Zincum Aceticum and Zincum Gluconicum as active ingredients.
Clinical studies of zinc based cold relief products that use different active zinc formulations (for example, zinc sulfate), different delivery systems and lower doses of zinc have had differing results. Zicam Cold Remedy’s combination of Zincum Gluconicum and Zincum Aceticum reduce the duration and the severity of the cold.
The acids found in citrus fruits and juices can reduce the efficacy of zinc.
Zicam Cold Remedy is safe and does not cause the side effects often experienced when taking cold relief products, such as drowsiness or grogginess, Zicam Cold Remedy is not habit-forming.
Zicam Cold Remedy has no known drug interaction side effects. As with all medications, consult your physician about possible interactions with the medications you are currently taking.
No. Zicam Cold Remedy is a safe and effective remedy that does not contain, and has never contained, the chemical PPA.
Zicam Cold Remedy Oral Mist is labeled for use in children over 3 years of age. However, as with any over-the-counter medication, it is recommended that you consult with your child's doctor before use and that the medication is provided under parental supervision.
